Last week I got an email from LoveMikana, which is a website with daily emails for happenings in and around Santa Barbara. That day’s email featured a clothing website, Ethica, where you can shop by categories like vegan, handcrafted, sustainable and made in the U.S.A. Although not an organizing site, I really wanted to tell you about Ethica because I love that they’ve done some of the leg work for you, if you are looking for products that fit those parameters. It saves time, energy and stress!
Then, the 4th of July rolls around and I started thinking about “Made in the U.S.A.” in general. (I must admit, a “made in the U.S.A.” tag is not a requirement for me, but it makes me feel better when I see it.) I love the ABC World News segment, “Made in America” where they feature businesses and products made here, employing Americans and creating new jobs when people buy their products. So in the spirit of the 4th of July, I thought you might like to know where you can buy “Made in the U.S.A.” too.
My favorite website, The Container Store, features the “Made in the U.S.A.” shopping category with over 800 items! I know there are many other companies and websites that offer the same services, but here are a few resource guides for you:

Do you have a favorite website that helps you shop for a specific category of items (green, sustainable, eco-friendly, vegan, made in U.S.A., handcrafted, etc.)? Please comment with your favorite website and the types of items and categories it sells.
Happy Organizing! And hope you all had a happy 4th!
